Irregular4Christ Ministries was co-founded in 2012 by Dusty Marshall and Krystal Marshall. Christian hip hop artist and recovery minister Dusty Marshall, comes from a background of fifteen years of addiction, being a full time criminal, and struggling with mental illness. Speaker, singer, and painter Krystal Marshall, comes from past of addiction, sexual abuse, and struggling with the fear of having a child born with disabilities. Despite their struggles, Dusty and Krystal found hope and healing through surrender and having intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. They found surrender and an intimate relationship with Jesus through being active and dedicated toward their recovery within the Christ-centered Celebrate Recovery 12-step discipleship program. Through the problems of their past, the husband and wife pair have found their passion for spreading a message of hope through testimony and hip hop music.
With their testimony and music, God truly prepared a platform for Dusty and Krystal to share their message of hope in overcoming addiction, hopelessness, mental illness, and in choosing life for having a daughter born with disabilities. Over the last four years, they have traveled to over 20 states, 200 locations, and reached over 24,000 people. At each event they have shared personal testimony, lead worship with hip hop music, prayed for those they encountered, and connected many needing recovery to recovery groups across the country. The majority of their opportunities to minister have taken place at Celebrate Recovery groups, juvenile detention centers, and prisons. The door has also been open for them to share at Christian hip hop events, outreaches, and major music festivals.
Today, Dusty and Krystal Marshall travel the country with their two young daughters, Amnesty and Noel,. In 2014 their daughter Amnesty, was miraculously healed from a major heart defect. She is also defying the odds, as doctors said she would never have use of her legs because of her medical diagnosis of Spina Bifida. However, through Jesus' name, she is already standing and walking with the help of a walker. It looks as if Amnesty will be walking on her own by years end.
Over the last four year Dusty and Krystal have received countless responses about how their ministry has impacted people in areas of hopelessness, suicide, accepting Christ, and choosing life for babies that would have been aborted. We ask that you would join us in prayer for what God is doing through our lives and ministry. Our prayer is that we would be able to continue to reach the broken, hopeless, and addicted with a message of the hope that is found in Jesus Christ.
